After you send your Mitsubishi's details
- 1
Send the VIN and the repair
The VIN tells us your Mitsubishi's model year and sensors. Add what was repaired and any message on the dash.
- 2
Approve the price per system
Your quote lists each system on its own line, from the service center or mobile technician for your ZIP code. You say yes first.
- 3
Get each sensor re-aimed
The technician re-aims each system on your quote to Mitsubishi's steps for that year, then confirms each one finished.
Mitsubishi calibration prices
Match the row to the repair. New glass is the camera row; front or rear bumper work brings in the radar rows.
Calibration, per system
Diagnostic scan
- Same price on a mobile visit, except rows marked Shop bay only.
- Prices are before sales tax. Whether labor is taxed depends on your state; any tax that applies is itemized on your written quote.
- Dynamic calibration runs on the road, so it can be done as a mobile visit. Static calibration needs a level, lit, measured space, so whether your job can be done mobile depends on what your car's documented procedure calls for.
- Rows marked Shop bay only are done in a shop bay. The bay-and-road camera price applies when your car needs both calibrations.

Know your Mitsubishi
Your model and its model year decide which sensors your Mitsubishi has and how they're aimed. Start with the tab that matches your repair.
Forward Collision Mitigation is Mitsubishi's automatic emergency braking. MI-PILOT Assist, on newer Outlanders, adds steering to adaptive cruise.
We re-aim up to four sensor types:
- Windshield camera, high on the glass: lane warnings, and emergency braking on most models.
- Front radar, in the nose: adaptive cruise and emergency braking.
- Blind spot radars, under the rear bumper cover: Blind Spot Warning.
- Multi-View cameras, front, rear and sides: the 360° view.

The front camera looks out through the windshield. That's why it needs calibration after a windshield replacement.
Mitsubishi's 2020 bulletin for the 2017 to 2020 Outlander says: "Whenever you remove the windshield, calibrate its sensor."
Aftermarket glass can fail a 2022 to 2024 Outlander's aiming. Two questions for the glass shop:
- Is it genuine? Mitsubishi's newsletter says the glass maker's name, lower left corner, "should say AGC Automotive."
- Is the camera calibration on the quote? Ours is $300.

Bumper work after a collision repair can knock the radar off its aim. Front radar calibration is $330.
A 2026 Outlander's forward collision unit bolts to the bumper face. An older-style replacement face can't hold it.
Blind spot radars sit behind the bumper. On a 2017 Outlander, patching over one can scatter the signal.
After rear bumper work, blind spot radar calibration is $330. Your quote says which radars need it.

Some warnings clear without anyone re-aiming a sensor. Check these first:
- "ACC or FCM temporarily not available" (2014 Outlander): snow, ice or dirt on the radar. Clean it.
- "Driving Aids – Temporarily limited – Radar Interference", on a 2022 to 2025 Outlander with MI-PILOT Assist:
- See a dealer. Mitsubishi was investigating it as of May 2026.
- "BSW SERVICE REQUIRED": a dealer software update, on these models:
- 2017 to 2020 Outlander
- 2018 to 2021 Outlander PHEV, and some 2022s
- 2018 to 2020 Eclipse Cross
- 2019 Outlander Sport
Still on, or there since a repair? Then a sensor may have moved.

Mitsubishi's aiming steps differ by model and model year. The error codes differ too.
The 2017 Outlander's camera aims at two calibration plates. Each sits at a measured distance from the car.
The 2022 to 2024 Outlander uses a target board. Ride height comes first, hood down, lights off.
That's why your quote starts with the VIN. It tells the technician which procedure your Mitsubishi takes.

Mitsubishi calibration questions
Yes, if it has a windshield camera. These models can carry one:
- Outlander, from 2014
- Outlander Sport, from 2018
- Eclipse Cross, from 2018
- Mirage and Mirage G4, 2022
Re-aiming the front camera costs $300 at a service center. Not sure it has one? The VIN on your quote request tells us.
Often not. FCM (Forward Collision Mitigation) is Mitsubishi's emergency braking. Some of its messages clear with a clean radar. See the messages tab above.
Still on since front bumper work? The radar may have moved, and re-aiming it is $330. More on radar blocked messages.
New glass is one line; bumper work adds radars. Front camera calibration is $300 and front radar calibration is $330 at a service center.
Prices are per system, before sales tax where your state charges it on labor, and the full rate card is on the pricing page.
Glass and parts come from your repair shop. We calibrate. A diagnostic scan, when your job needs one, is priced and itemized separately.
Yes, it drives as normal. But emergency braking, lane warnings and adaptive cruise can shut off or react wrongly until the job's done.
Tell us the repair and the model year, and each system gets its own price.
Check your policy first. If a covered windshield or body repair moved the sensor, ask the adjuster whether the calibration goes on that claim.
Our quote lists every system and its price on its own line, ready for the adjuster.
