The symptoms look like ADAS faults. Heavy steering. Warning messages for multiple systems. Fault codes like B1304 and U0131 in the EPAS module. A shop that doesn't know about this pattern might replace sensors or modules that were never broken.

The real fix is checking and cleaning the ground points. Land Rover released a specific rivet bolt (part number LR149837) for re-establishing corroded ground connections. B1304 and Steering-Related Codes

Range Rover Sport and Evoque models store B1304-04, B1304-16, U0001-87, and U3001-00 when the EPAS module doesn't get enough voltage. The steering feels heavy. The driver assumes power steering failure. But the root cause is corroded ground points reducing supply to the EPAS and ADAS modules simultaneously. This code pattern is a strong indicator that the vehicle needs ground point service before any ADAS work begins.

Post-Repair Battery and Charging Faults

Range Rover models from 2011 onward can store P0A1A and P065B after battery replacement if the Gateway reset and quiescent current check aren't performed.
